“During the visit of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to Belgrade, the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Türkiye, Aleksandar Vulin and Süleyman Soylu, signed on September 7, 2022. the Protocol No. 1 between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye on amendments and additions to the Agreement on mutual abolition of visas signed in Belgrade on July 12, 2010, which provides for the possibility of crossing the state border of the two countries with a valid biometric ID card.

Information about the entry into force of the Protocol in question will be published in a timely manner on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ankara, after the completion of the necessary internal procedures.

FOR THE TIME BEING THE TRAVEL IS EXCLUSIVELY POSSIBLE ONLY WITH PASSPORT.
