The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in which he said:

"I am deeply shocked by the terrible images of the destructive power of the water that took dozens of lives in Turkey. Serbia is always ready to provide friendly help and support, sympathizing with the families of the victims. I am convinced that Turkey will bravely face the consequences of this catastrophe and that people from the endangered areas will soon be able to return to their homes",the telegram of condolences from President Vučić to President Erdogan reads.
