Today, the Committee on Foreign Economic Relations DEIK organized a Panel of Acknowledgments to diplomatic representatives of countries that stood in defense of the achievements of democracy and provided support and trust to the Republic of Turkey after the failed military coup on July 11, 2016.

The panel was organized to mark five years since the failed military coup, called the " July 15: Cooperation Based on Trust Panel & Special Thanks Ceremony".

Ambassador Markovic attended today's panel and was presented with a DEIK plaque, from the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yavuz Selim Kiran, stating that they, as representatives of the private sector in Turkey, highly appreciate the contribution, cooperation and support provided by the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Turkey in its most difficult moments.
