A delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia visited Ankara on 24 October for an official return visit to the Foreign Policy Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The delegation led by the Chairman of the Committee prof. dr. Zarko Obradovic, attended by the president of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Turkey, prof. dr. Zoran Dragisic and MEPs Nada Lazic, Maja Macuzic Puzic and Djordje Kosanic had substantive discussions with members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey led by this body's chairman, Volkan Bozkir.

They were also received by Turkish Deputy Speaker Sureja Sadi Bilgic, Minister of Justice and Co-Chair of the Mixed Turkish-Serbian Economic Cooperation Commission Abdulhamit Gul and Deputy Foreign Minister Javuz Selim Kiran, with whom a meaningful exchange of views on bilateral relations and other issues was conducted by importance for the future successful co-operation of the two countries and the two parliaments and the expansion of friendship between the two nations.
