Today, August 11, 2019, First deputy prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia H.E. Mr. Ivica Dacic met in Antalya Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu. H.E. Mr. Dacic extended his congratulations on Eid al-Adha to his Turkish colleague adding to mention his pleasure with their meetings in Antalya that had become traditional.

 

Two ministers exchanged their views on various bilateral and regional issues. They concluded that the relations between two countries are at the highest possible level in the history of their diplomatic relations but that there are also possibilities for improving the relations even further. As for the regional matters, both countries are putting all their efforts for the stability and prosperity of the region.

Minister Dacic invited Minister Cavusoglu to visit Serbia at the time of his convinience hoping that the visit may happen during the foreseen visit of the president Erdogan to Serbia or during the meeting of UN General Assembly in September.

At the end of meeting Minister Cavusoglu presented a jersey of Malatyaspor Football Club which is about to have a match with Serbian Club Partizan on August 15.
