According to the amendments of the Law on Citizenship, article 3, it is stated that any citizen of Social Federative Republic of Yugoslavia or citizen of another republic of SFRY respectively any citizen of another country created on the territory of SFRY that on the day of December 31, 2016 and on the day of the application has a registered resident adress in the Republic of Serbia, may apply for the citizenship of the Republic of Serbia. The citizenship applications must be done in the period of one year since the day of the entry into force of the above mentioned law that is before April 3, 2019.
