Ambassador Spasojevic visited His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I.

Ambassador talked to Patriarch Bartholomew I about the status of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the state of religious freedom in Turkey.

During the visit there the upcoming official visit of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, to Turkey was discussed, when president Nikolic is supposed to meet  His All Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew I at the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Ambassador was accompanied by the Counsellor at the Serbian Embassy in Ankara, Mr Zdravko Mitrovic.
