On the second day of his official visit to Turkey, President Nikolic attended the Business Forum and on that occasion asked the eminent businessmen of two countries to cooperate in a way that Serbian and Turkish high-leveled government officials do.

President Nikolic said to Turkish businessmen that all doors of fields of energy, agriculture, textile, machine industry, are wide open for them. He added that Serbia works hard to reduce the bureaucratic procedures and that the businessmen have all the support needed from the Government of Serbia and the President’s Cabinet.

Nikolic pointed out that Serbia and Turkey need to cooperate even more closer especially before entering the EU.

“We are a country in between the East and the West, everybody wants on their side. Our path is a path to the EU, but until we take that path, we have to carry on, in a way that Turkey does,” Nikolic said.

He added that there is no Balkans without Serbia but also Serbia cannot do everything in the Balkans without Turkey.
