On the second day of his official visit to Turkey, President Nikolic met His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I in the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul.

In a sincere conversation, President Nikolic and Patriach Bartholomew discussed the situation in the Balkans and the most important international issues – ecumenical dialogue, EU intergrations, the situation in the Middle East etc.

Patriarch Bartholomew announced that he would be visiting Serbia and the city of Nish, the home town of the Imperator Constantinus, during the celebration of the 1700th Anniversary of the Edict of Milan.
