At the seminar series organised by the prestegious Ankara research institute USAK, Ambassador Spasojević delivered a lecture on „Serbia’s Perspective on EU Candidacy and Its Contribution to the Regional Peace“.

In the presence of numerous members of diplomatic corps and academic circles, the Director of the USAK Centre of European Studies, prof. dr Kamer Kasim, welcomed the guests and the speakers - Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Mr Dušan Spasojević and Director General for Balkans and Central Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ambassador Hakan Okcal, who accepted the invitation to open this seminar series.

With interactive communication with the audience, Ambassadors Okcal and Spasojević discussed situation in the Balkans in the 21 century, European perspectives and challenges of the region, relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Turkey and regional cooperation.
