During today`s visit to the Province and City of Konya, Ambassador Spasojević met with the Governor Aydin Nezih Dogan, the Mayor Tahir Аkyurek and representatives of the commercial and industrial chambers of Konya.

At the meeting with the Governor and the Mayor, the Ambassador was informed about the characteristics and cultural heritage of Konya, one of the most important cities in the region of Anatolia.

The hosts expressed that in their experience the opening of an 'Honour Consulate' has a great impact on future cooperation. Also, there is readiness of the City of Konya to find a twin city from Serbia.

During the meeting with the representatives of the Commercial and Industrial Chambers, Selçuk Ozturk and Tahir  Büyükkorukçü, Ambassador Spasojević was informed about the economic potential of Konya and the will to initiate cooperation with companies from Serbia.
