According to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Serbia published in the Official Gazette on December 15, 2020. regarding protection from infectious diseases, all foreign citizens will need a negative PCR test on COVID 19, issued by the reference laboratory of the country they come from, not older than 48 hours. Persons who have not been tested and do not have a negative test upon entering the Republic of Serbia will be returned from the border crossing without permission to enter the country.

If there is a delay while entering the Republic of Serbia, which cannot be attributed to the guilt of passengers but is a consequence of an external event that could not be predicted, avoided or eliminated (flight delay, delay of the departures of buses, trains, etc.) then the test cannot be older than 72 hours upon entry to the Republic of Serbia.

Citizens of the Republic of Serbia and foreign citizens who have been granted temporary residence or permanent residence in the Republic of Serbia, as well as members of diplomatic and consular staff and their families, in case of not having a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours, will be quarantined at home for 10 days. If a person who has been assigned a quarantine measure receives a negative PRC test issued by a reference laboratory in the Republic of Serbia during the duration of the measure, it ceases to be valid.

There is a written notification at all border crossings - a health warning about the measures to be followed to prevent the occurrence, spread and control of the infectious disease COVID 19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and other written notifications in the form of a health warning can be delivered during passport control.
